Terms of Service

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the contract between you and Manuel Centrone, 20024 Garbagnate Milanese (MI), Italy ("Anthecom", "we", "us", "our"), for the use of Anthecom, the service available at anthecom.com. Please read them carefully: by creating an account or using the Service you accept them.

1. The Service and who can use it

1.1 The Service. Anthecom is a platform that builds, hosts and runs online stores with artificial intelligence. It includes, among other things:

  • generating a complete store (brand, logo, texts, catalog and design) from a description, a link or a photo, and changing it with AI instructions or with the editor;
  • hosting your stores on an anthecom.com address (for example yourstore.anthecom.com) or on your own domain;
  • importing products from links and from AliExpress, and tools to find products;
  • managing products, collections, inventory, orders, discounts, markets and pages;
  • a checkout connected to the payment methods you choose: your own Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex or Adyen account, or cash on delivery;
  • automatic emails to your customers (such as order confirmations, shipping updates and review requests), reviews, newsletter sign-ups, analytics and SEO tools;
  • templates for your store's legal pages.

New features we add are also covered by these Terms. All of this together is the "Service".

1.2 Acceptance. By creating an account, paying for a plan or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the Service.

1.3 Business use only. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Anthecom is a tool for running a business: you use it as a trader, for your business or profession, and not as a consumer. If you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

2.1 Creating an account. You must give accurate and complete information, including a valid email address, and keep it up to date. You can also sign up with Google. You may not open several accounts to get around plan limits. We may refuse or close an account where the law allows it.

2.2 Security. Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for everything done in your account, including by people you let use it. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, write to us immediately at support@anthecom.com. We are not liable for losses caused by login details you didn't protect.

2.3 How we contact you. We write to you at the email address of your account about your account, billing, security and changes to the Service. Make sure that address works and check it regularly.

2.4 Connected services. When you connect Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex, Adyen, AliExpress or other services, or enter their API keys, you confirm that you are authorised to do so, and you remain responsible for those accounts and their terms. We store keys in encrypted form and use them only to provide the features you turned on.

3. How you may use Anthecom

3.1 Your licence. As long as you respect these Terms and pay for your plan, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for your business, within the limits of your plan.

3.2 What you must not do. You agree not to:

  • resell, rent or sublicense the Service, or share your account to get around plan limits;
  • copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass its technical limits, including AI credit limits, plan limits and security measures;
  • use the Service to build a competing product, or extract its themes, templates, prompts or code;
  • access the Service or collect data from it with bots, scrapers or other automated tools, except those we provide;
  • disrupt or overload the Service, our infrastructure or other users' stores, or try to access accounts or systems you are not authorised to use;
  • upload viruses or other harmful code;
  • break the law or the rules in section 7.

4. Plans, AI credits and payment

4.1 Plans. The Free plan lets you sign up and look around the dashboard; it can't create stores (with AI or by hand), publish them or take orders. Stores created on the Free plan before October 27, 2026 stay in the account and can be edited by hand. Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Business) let you publish a set number of stores and include monthly AI credits, themes and features as described on our pricing page, which is part of these Terms. We may change, limit or end the Free plan at any time.

4.2 AI credits. Building and editing stores with AI uses credits, according to the work done. Credits renew at the start of each billing month; unused credits don't carry over and have no cash value. When you run out, AI features stop until your credits renew or you upgrade; your stores stay online.

4.3 Billing. Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly (yearly at the discount shown on the pricing page). They are sold by Fungies, which acts as merchant of record: it processes your payment, adds and pays the applicable taxes (such as VAT), issues invoices and applies its own terms to the payment. Taxes may be added to the prices shown at checkout, depending on where you are.

4.4 Automatic renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Plan & billing page: your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, then your account moves to the Free plan.

4.5 Refunds. The Service is for business use and is available as soon as you subscribe. For this reason payments are not refundable, including for periods partly used, unused AI credits or downgrades, except in the cases listed in our Refund Policy or where the law requires a refund.

4.6 Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Fungies may try again. If the payment is still not made, your account moves to the Free plan: your published stores go offline and paid features stop working until you subscribe again. Your stores and data are kept, so they come back online when you renew. We are not liable for sales lost while your stores were offline for this reason.

4.7 Downgrades. If you move to a plan with fewer stores, only the oldest published stores within the new limit stay online. Themes that the new plan doesn't include are shown with the closest theme it includes.

4.8 Price changes. We may change prices or what plans include for future periods. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days in advance; if you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies to you.

4.9 Fair use. Each plan includes hosting for a normal amount of traffic: up to 50,000 store page views a month on Starter, 250,000 on Pro and 1,000,000 on Business, counted for all the stores of your account together. If your stores go well beyond it, we'll contact you by email and may ask you to move to a plan that includes your traffic; if no plan does, we'll agree a custom plan with you. If you don't move to a suitable plan, or agree one with us, within 7 days of our email, we may limit your account or take your stores offline until you do, and if the situation continues, close your account under section 8.2. We won't do this without contacting you first, except to protect the Service from abusive or automated traffic (such as attacks or bots).

5. Artificial intelligence

5.1 How it works. The Service uses AI models from third parties, mainly Claude by Anthropic, to follow your instructions and to generate texts, logos, designs, product content and translations ("AI Output"). AI is not always right: AI Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to output generated for others, unsuitable for your business or not compliant with the laws of the countries where you sell, and an AI edit may not do exactly what you asked.

5.2 Review before you publish. Check all AI Output before you publish it or leave it online, in particular product descriptions, claims, prices, discounts and translations. You are responsible for AI Output in your stores and in your emails as if you had written it yourself.

5.3 Prices and orders. You are solely responsible for the prices, discounts and offers shown in your stores, including those set or changed with AI, and for honouring, correcting or cancelling orders under your own terms of sale and consumer law. We are not liable for orders placed at wrong prices, whatever the cause.

5.4 No guaranteed results. We don't guarantee that the Service or AI Output will bring sales, traffic, conversions, search rankings or any other business result.

5.5 Your data and AI training. We don't use your prompts, your store content or your customers' data to train AI models, and the commercial terms of our AI providers prohibit them from training their models on data we send them. We may use aggregated and anonymised data about how the Service is used to run, secure and improve it.

5.6 Legal page templates. The templates we provide for your store's privacy policy, cookie policy and terms of sale are a starting point, not legal advice. Complete them with your business details and adapt them to your business and to the laws of the countries where you sell, with professional advice if needed.

6. Your stores, your customers and your sales

6.1 Anthecom is not a marketplace. Every sale made through your store is a contract only between you and your customer. You are the seller; we are not a party to the sale and we are not the seller or merchant of record of your products.

6.2 Your responsibilities. You alone are responsible for your store and your business, including: the products you sell and their quality, safety and legality; descriptions, claims, prices and the information required by law; your legal pages, your contact details and your seller details; shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, warranties and customer service; taxes on your sales; fraud and chargebacks; and compliance with the laws that apply to you, including consumer protection, product safety, advertising, accessibility and data protection laws, in every country where you sell.

6.3 Payments. Online payments in your store are processed by the providers you connect (Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex or Adyen, and the methods they offer, such as cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna) through your own accounts and under your agreements with them. We are not a payment institution, we never hold your money, and we are not responsible for payments, payouts, fees, holds, reserves, disputes, chargebacks or suspensions decided by those providers. Anthecom takes no commission on your sales.

6.4 Cash on delivery. If you turn on cash on delivery, your customers pay the courier or you directly when they receive the order. You are responsible for collecting the payment and for the risk of orders refused or not paid.

6.5 Emails to your customers. Emails sent from your store (order confirmations, shipping updates, review requests) are sent on your behalf and in your name. You are responsible for their content and for using the email addresses you collect, including newsletter sign-ups, in compliance with the law: for example, send marketing emails only to people who agreed to receive them.

6.6 Domains. If you connect your own domain, you are responsible for its registration, renewal and DNS settings. We are not liable if your store can't be reached because of an expired domain or wrong DNS settings.

6.7 Your customers' personal data. For the personal data of your stores' visitors and customers you are the controller, and we process it as your processor under section 9.

7. Acceptable use

7.1 Prohibited activities. You may not use Anthecom to:

  • sell illegal, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous products, or products you don't have the right to sell;
  • scam or defraud anyone, including by taking payments for products you don't intend to deliver;
  • publish fake reviews, false or misleading claims, or fake urgency, discounts or scarcity;
  • infringe the copyright, trademarks or other rights of others;
  • collect or use personal data unlawfully, or send spam;
  • publish content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise unlawful.

7.2 Imported content. When you import products from other websites or from AliExpress, make sure you have the right to use their texts, images, names and brands, and that the products can be legally sold in the countries where you sell them.

7.3 Store reviews. We may review the stores built with Anthecom to check that these rules are respected.

8. Suspension, bans and closing your account

8.1 Closing your account. You can cancel your subscription at any time (section 4.4) and close your account by writing to support@anthecom.com.

8.2 Suspension and closure by us. We may suspend or close your account, or take your stores offline, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if your payment is not made, if the law, an authority or a provider the Service depends on requires it, or if your use of the Service creates a legal, security or fraud risk for us, other users or consumers. Where possible and allowed by law we'll tell you why in advance; otherwise we'll tell you as soon as we can.

8.3 Bans. If we find that an account is used for illegal activities, scams or fraud, or to seriously break these Terms, we may ban it immediately and without notice: you are signed out, you can no longer log in, and your stores go offline. A ban applies even if you have already paid for a plan: the amount paid for the current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it, and the subscription is cancelled so that you are not charged again. We may report illegal activities to the competent authorities and to the payment providers involved. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@anthecom.com.

8.4 What happens next. When your account is closed, your right to use the Service ends and your stores go offline. Before closing your account you can ask us for a copy of your store data. We delete account data and stores within 30 days of closure, except data we must keep by law (such as billing records).

9. Data processing for your stores

For the personal data of your stores' visitors and customers, you are the controller and we are your processor. We process this data only to provide the Service and following your instructions as set out in these Terms; we keep it confidential and protect it with appropriate security measures; we use the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy and inform you of changes; we help you answer your customers' requests to exercise their rights; we tell you without undue delay about any personal data breach; and we delete the data when you delete your store or close your account. You are responsible for informing your customers, publishing a privacy policy and cookie policy in your store, and collecting any consents required.

10. Intellectual property

10.1 Ours. Anthecom, its software, themes, templates, design, brand and documentation belong to us or our licensors. These Terms don't give you any right to them, except the licence in section 3.1.

10.2 Yours. Your content (product data, images, texts, logos, brands and everything you upload) stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to host, store, copy, adapt, display and process it, also through our providers, only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service. We'll show your store in our examples or marketing only with your permission. You confirm that you have all the rights needed for your content and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

10.3 AI Output. As far as the law allows, AI Output generated for your store is yours to use for any lawful purpose. Similar or identical output may be generated for other users, so we can't grant you exclusivity, and in some countries AI-generated content may not be protected by copyright.

10.4 Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.

10.5 Other brands. Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex, Adyen, AliExpress, Amazon, Google, Anthropic and the other third-party names mentioned belong to their owners. Anthecom is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

11. Third-party services

The Service works with, and depends on, services of third parties: payment providers, AI providers, hosting, database, email delivery, domain and DNS providers, and the platforms you connect. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms. We don't control them and, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for their outages, errors, decisions (such as account suspensions), changes or discontinuation. If you turn on a connected service, you authorise us to share with it the data needed for it to work.

12. Availability and changes to the Service

12.1 Availability. We work to keep Anthecom available, fast and secure, but the Service, including your stores and checkout, is provided "as is" and "as available": we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and no service level applies unless agreed in writing. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security reasons, problems of our providers or events outside our control. Where possible we announce planned maintenance in advance.

12.2 Downtime. If business continuity is essential for you, plan your own contingency measures. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for sales or revenue lost while the Service or your stores were unavailable or slow.

12.3 Changes. We may improve, change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel; changes required for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons may apply immediately.

12.4 Beta features. Features marked as beta, preview or early access may change or be removed at any time and are provided without any guarantee.

12.5 Support. You can reach us through the contact page or at support@anthecom.com. Support levels and response times depend on your plan and are targets, not guarantees.

13. Liability

13.1 No other warranties. Apart from what is stated in these Terms, and as far as the law allows, we give no warranty about the Service or AI Output, including that they are fit for a particular purpose or will produce a particular result.

13.2 Excluded damages. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, customers, goodwill or data, interruption of your business, loss of search rankings or of advertising accounts, chargebacks, refunds, taxes or fines charged to you, arising from the Service, AI Output, third-party services or these Terms.

13.3 Limit. As far as the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage, or 100 euros.

13.4 What we don't limit. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless and to indemnify us against claims, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties or authorities and arising from: your stores, your content and the products you sell; your sales and your relationships with your customers, including refunds, chargebacks and complaints; AI Output you publish or send; the services you connect; your marketing and emails; your taxes; and your breach of these Terms or of the law.

15. General terms

15.1 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We'll tell you about changes that significantly affect your rights at least 30 days in advance by email or in the dashboard; changes required by law or for security reasons may apply sooner. If you continue to use Anthecom after the changes take effect, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, cancel and stop using the Service before then.

15.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the pricing page, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.

15.3 Invalid clauses. If a clause of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in force.

15.4 Transfer. You may not transfer these Terms to others without our written consent. We may transfer them, for example in case of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, and we'll tell you if we do.

15.5 Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, wars, epidemics, decisions of authorities, failures of the internet, energy or of our providers.

15.6 No partnership. These Terms don't create any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us.

15.7 Language. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.

16. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Before starting any legal action, write to us at support@anthecom.com: we'll try to resolve the matter in good faith within 30 days. Since the Service is for business use, any dispute will be decided exclusively by the courts of Milan, Italy, where we are based, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise. If, despite section 1.3, you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring a claim in its courts.

17. Contact

For any question about these Terms write to support@anthecom.com or use the contact page at anthecom.com/contact.
